Produce should be refrigerated between 37°F to 40°F.
Non-refrigerated Produce should be stored between 68°F to 77°F.
Learn about storing common fruits and vegetables in our Produce Storage Guide.
BAKED GOODS
Due to the low moisture and high sugar content in most bread and baked products, muffins, bagels, pastries, cakes, cookies, and more can safely be stored at room temperature.
Storing baked goods in a refrigerator will increase their shelf-life by 2-3 weeks.
Baked products with higher moisture content or dairy as an ingredient must be stored in the refrigerator.
All baked goods can safely be stored in a freezer for up to 3 months.
DRY GOODS/SHELF STABLE
Store canned and shelf-stable foods at least 6 inches off the ground.
In a cool, dry place where temperatures are below 85°F.
