is a mobile app that allows you to discover local restaurants and save money in a fun new way. With a simple spin, Spotluckers earn preferred pricing and forgo the hassle of figuring out where to eat next!

This Bethesda based startup supports community and local business by encouraging customers to explore designated hubs throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Spotluck has partnered with Nourish Now to give back to these hubs through a monthly dinner project called Spotluck Potluck.

Between February 1st and February 7th, restaurants from around the county made Montgomery County Restaurant Week possible for everyone. With the help of our good friends at Spotluck, Nourish Now teamed up with over 40 local restaurants to bring 1,000 meals to those in need in this very special Potluck event. The project was such a success that we received some great press! The collaboration was mentioned in a Bethesda Magazine article. Then our Executive Director, Brett Meyers, and Spotluck CEO, Cherian Thomas, were interviewed on Let’s Talk Live DC, which aired on both ABC7 WJLA and NewsChannel 8. A slideshow of the project was also posted on the WUSA9 website.

For the third #SpotluckPotluck, the families and children at the Children’s Inn at NIH received fresh, delicious meals from some of best restaurants Rockville has to offer. With the help of Young Ambassador’s Council (YAC), a fun and delicious dinner was delivered hot and ready to eat. Thanks to Spotluck and the many philanthropic local businesses that continue to make these events so impactful! Check out the video to learn more.

In our second installment of the Spotluck Potluck, Nourish Now welcomed 12 new restaurant donors from Spotluck’s Bethesda Row hub. Watch this video to see members of both of our teams collecting the food and delivering it to the veterans at The Fisher House at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

This video highlights the first #SpotluckPotluck event, and the restaurants participating in the Woodmont Triangle hub. On January 27th, 2015, each of these restaurants donated freshly prepared meals through this collaboration to The Children’s Inn at NIH in Bethesda, MD.
